Advocacy

The Alliance for Pediatric Therapies is quickly becoming the leading voice for the pediatric therapy industry in Florida.

The Alliance speaks on behalf of members who do business with state programs including Medicaid’s Prepaid Therapies Program, Early Steps and Medicaid waiver programs. The Alliance also advocates for therapy practices that are enrolled in private sector insurance plans.

The Alliance is represented at the Florida Capitol by Snow Strategies, a Tallahassee-based company whose consultants have a proven track record representing clients in the pediatric health care arena.

We routinely meet with legislators and decision-makers in state government so that we can influence policies before they happen. The Alliance also works with other statewide therapy associations and advocacy groups to promote causes of common interest. Together, members of the Alliance can shape the future of pediatric therapies for patients and providers.
